Adam Yauch’s Will Prohibits the Use of His Music and Image in Ads

Don't expect to hear MCA's rhymes in a non-Beasties project anytime soon — or ever — as Adam Yauch's will definitively prevented it. Rolling Stone says the will reads "in no event may my image or name or any music or any artistic property created by me be used for advertising purposes," specifying that the "any music or any artistic property created by me" was a handwritten addition. The 47-year-old Yauch died in May, three years after being diagnosed with cancer.
