Sitcom Based on Atlantic Article Lands at CBS

Last fall, Kate Bolick’s “All the Single Ladies” cover story for The Atlantic was the article everyone was talking about. Shortly after publication, Sony bought the TV rights to the story, and now the could-be series has officially landed at CBS, with The Big C’s Darlene Hunt as executive producer. According to Deadline, the show will be a half-hour single-camera comedy about a woman who turns down her boyfriend’s proposal and instead embraces singldedom, and CBS has given the series a script commitment. VH1 already has a show called Single Ladies, though, so back to the drawing board for titles.
