Sitcom star writing, directing, and starring in a small film? Check. Luminous young female lead? Check. Uplifting indie music? That’s about all we need to roll out the Garden State: College Style moniker for Liberal Arts. Of course, the actual movie may be nothing like Zach Braff’s 2004 passion project — it’ll certainly have a tough time matching the soundtrack — but for the moment, that’s the vibe we’re getting from this trailer for the film, which stars How I Met Your Mother’s Josh Radnor as a 35-year-old who falls for Elizabeth Olsen’s character, a 19-year-old student named Zibby. The reportedly great cameo by Zac Efron neither proves nor disproves our theory, but we’re looking forward to it either way.
