NBC has just bought a new sitcom from Executive Producer Chelsea Handler, one starring and written by Ingrid Haas. Here’s how Deadline describes the project: “Based on Haas’ real life, the relationship comedy centers around a father and daughter. When Ingrid’s parents come to visit her in Los Angeles, she accidentally breaks up their marriage, forcing Ingrid’s dad, Wayne, to move in with her and her roommate in their Melrose Place-style apartment building.” Sounds fun!
A regular at the UCB theater in LA as well as a classically trained Shakespearian actress, Haas was in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, amongst other projects.
