Exclusive ParaNorman Clip: Attack of the Toilet Paper Monsters!

It’s been three years since Laika Films made many ten-best lists with Coraline, the first stop-motion feature to be shot in 3-D, and now the studio is following it up with ParaNorman, out August 17. The new film is the tale of 11-year-old Norman (voiced by Let Me In’s Kodi Smit-McPhee), who’s got an ability to communicate with the dead — which he mostly uses to talk to deceased grandma Elaine Stritch — but after his uncle Prenderghast (John Goodman) warns him that he needs to stop an ancient witch’s curse, Norman must leap into action. And as you can see in this exclusive clip, he does so somewhat reluctantly … and at the behest of paranormally possessed toilet paper rolls.
