Fantasy Series Shannara Gets TV Adaptation

Because recent history has proven that fantasy epics and post-apocalyptic porn work well on TV, author Terry Brooks's Shannara series, which has both, is getting the small-screen treatment. Farah Films, the company behind Tony Danza's sitcom, and Sonar Entertainment have acquired the rights to the books, which follow a magical family living a few hundred years after the end of civilization. There's never been a better time to be in the prop sword business.
