In July, just after Breaking Bad’s fifth season premiere, the departed and Emmy-nominated Giancarlo Esposito told Vulture his return to the show was “always a possibility,” floating the idea of Gustavo Fring haunting Walter White’s dreams, making Heisenberg “so Gus-like that it haunts his every pore.” While the Los Pollos Hermanos proprietor failed to materialize in the recently concluded first half of the final season, Esposito still says “there has been talk” and that ideas remain in the ether. Fantastic.
