Comedian Jim Gaffigan has a new put pilot commitment from CBS for an untitled single-camera comedy inspired by his life. Gaffigan will star as a married father of five living in a two-bedroom apartment (hear him turn that fun scenario into some stand-up here). Rescue Me creator and The Larry Sanders Show writer Peter Tolan is also on board for the project. Gaffigan took the Louis C.K. route with his last comedy special, independently selling Mr. Universe online for $5.
