The Paranormal franchise pretty much has its schtick down at this point: freaky shadow figures, people getting dragged down hallways, lots of heavy breathing, ominous symbols, toppled furniture, etc. And to be fair, that schtick works! This additional trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 is totally scary! (Maybe a little less scary than the previous one, but still.) The movie picks up a few years after PA2, when the possessed (or whatever) Katie walked off with her baby nephew Hunter. Now he’s a demonic little kid able to terrorize his friendly neighbors and turn the funky infrared lights of a Kinect into some kind of monster/spirit disco of terror.
