Beyoncé stans weep, Beyoncé haters rejoice: Long after being announced as the lead for A Star Is Born, Blue Ivy’s mama is out. Warner Bros. still hasn’t found a male star — though Tom Cruise, Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, and Leonardo DiCaprio have all been approached — for the Clint Eastwood remake. But here’s this, from Variety: “Studio insiders said that with Knowles now off the project, there has been interest, at least from Eastwood’s end, in jazz musician Esperanza Spalding.” Whoa.
