Like Steve Jobs, Janis Joplin has a pair of biopics about her in the works. Now Janis Joplin: Get It While You Can can be distinguished as the one starring Amy Adams and potentially being directed by Lee Daniels (Precious, The Paperboy). Once he wraps the era-spanning White House movie The Butler, Daniels might as well stick in the historical realm. But unfortunately for Get It While You Can, the other Joplin film, Janis, may have exclusive musical rights.
