Lee Daniels Wanted Nicole Kidman to Use the N-Word for The Paperboy

Lee Daniels convinced Nicole Kidman to pee on Zac Efron for The Paperboy, but he couldn't get her to fling an N-word at a black co-star. "I didn't feel like it was right for the character," Kidman said at the New York Film Festival. "I have a son who's African American and I just didn't feel it was right." Daniels was initially salty, but Kidman smoothed things out by being otherwise completely game "to go home at night and feel discomfort."
