Speaking at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit on Tuesday, Lena Dunham copped to feeling "heartbreak at the idea that [Girls] would make anyone feel isolated." Meaning new characters of various racial heritages (and new white people!) in season two. "All I want to do is make women feel excited and included by the show," Dunham said, also clarifying that she's working to respond directly to fans "who are women of color who want to see themselves reflected on screen."
