Movie 43 has the kind of ensemble cast that would put a Garry Marshall omnibus rom-com to shame: not just the starlets mentioned in this headline but also Hugh Jackman, Naomi Watts, Halle Berry, Richard Gere, Chloë Moretz, Terrence Howard, and Richard Gere besides. Not that most of them get to share the screen with each other, mind you, since this is a comedy composed of separate comedic sketches, each attempting to mine all the laughs the R-rating has to offer. Anna Faris? She wants to poop on Chris Pratt. Emma Stone? She'd love to discuss her HPV with Kieran Culkin. Kate Winslet? Well, she's out on a dinner date with Jackman, who reveals a surprising anatomical abnormality. It's all very brightly lit.
