Stephen Merchant's HBO pilot Hello, Ladies has been given an eight-episode order, Deadline reports. No big shock there: Merchant, who co-wrote the series with former Office writer-producers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, also wrote the lucrative Bad Teacher. In Ladies, Merchant stars as an ungainly fellow looking for romance among L.A.'s glamour set. Successful white dudes need love too!
