Back when Rebel Wilson’s comedy Super Fun Night was set for CBS, Jenny Slate and Edi Patterson were lined up to play Wilson’s BFFs in the crew’s weekly quest to have amazing Friday nights. Then being dropped by the Eye and snagged by ABC meant all new besties, of which Liza Lapira is now one. Lapira, a regular on Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 and an actress in Crazy, Stupid, Love., Fast & Furious, and NCIS, will play Helen-Alice, Wilson’s intelligent buddie and roomie.
