Anybody who’s watched the first season of Lost can likely claim the show gave them pause about ever stepping back onto an airplane. And even if you don’t normally launch into a full-blown panic attack when you fly, the type of gripping, terrifying midair disasters seen in movies like Cast Away, Fearless, and, most recently, Flight, could be enough to turn you into the kind of passenger who grips your neighbor’s hand in hopes that, you know, the friggin’ tail doesn’t rip off.
