Watch a Burger Get Shot Into Space

Ah, college. A time of change, discovery, and enlightenment. And, at Harvard, a time to launch burgers into space and record it, as five friends did after receiving $1,000 from a local burger place. The launch took place in Sturbridge, Massachussetts, on October 27, eventually reaching "a max altitude of 30000m." How did it work? A 600g weather balloon was filled with helium and attached to a GoPro Hero, HTC Rezound phone (for GPS), and — of course — the burger, which eventually returned to Earth 130 miles north of Boston. Weird, delicious science!
