An Aubrey Plaza-John C. Reilly Zombie Comedy Is On the Way

Aubrey Plaza and John C. Reilly are set to star in a new movie called Life After Beth, according to The Guardian. The film is a zombie comedy written and directed by Jeff Baena, David O. Russell’s co-writer on I Heart Huckabees and Plaza’s boyfriend. Few plot details are known about the project, but Aubrey Plaza tells The Guardian, “It’s a really fucked up movie.” That’s pretty surprising because most zombie movies aren’t fucked up and are pretty clean and family friendly, so it’s nice to know Life After Beth will be taking a different path. Production will presumably take place during Aubrey Plaza’s hiatus from Parks and Recreation this spring. If you can’t wait a couple years to see a new zombie comedy, don’t worry because one called Warm Bodies is due out in February to keep all you zombie comedy fans satiated until Life After Beth’s release.
