Drag Queen’s Azealia Banks Parody Also Doubles As Savvy 2012 Rap-Up

Drag queen Peppermint has gone above and beyond the call of duty (the obligatory 2012 Best Of lists) and turned her thoughts on the events of our past year into a tongue-in-cheek parody of 2012 breakout artist, Azealia Banks, and her now-famous music video for "212." Filtered through snappy lyrics about the oncoming apocalypse, Peppermint manages to name-check big buzz from the last 365 or so days: Gangnam Style, Mitt Romney, Honey Boo Boo, and the list goes on.

And, oh yeah, there are Grindr jokes. But you probably saw that coming.
