TNT, a day after ordering a series reminiscent of The Killing, has given the green light to a pilot for a “quirky bounty hunter drama” starring Geena Davis. Still untitled, the show is based on real-life bounty hunter Mackenzie Green, defined by her “eccentric personality and unusual tactics.” (The New Yorker profiled Green in 2003, at age 60.) Independence Day and Stargate writer/producer Dean Devlin will direct the pilot.
