HBO made it official: Girls has been renewed for another season, just as everyone pretty much knew already. Season three will have twelve episodes, unlike the first two seasons’ ten each, which means an additional almost-hour of lots of self-negating behavior, emotional despair, and wild and crazy times with one’s girlfriends.
