Joseph Gordon-Levitt, recently eyed for the Godzilla remake and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, has said no to both, in favor of Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City sequel A Dame to Kill For. He’s taking the role of Johnny, a part first offered to Johnny Depp. After seeing Gordon-Levitt in Lincoln, Looper, The Dark Knight Rises and Premium Rush in 2012 alone, it seemed reasonable to expect at least two out of three movies here, but hey, the guy deserves a bit of rest.
