Ashton Kutcher says his Method approach to his role in jOBS ended up making him sick. In addition to watching “hundreds of hours of footage” of Steve Jobs, the Two and Half Men star adopted the Apple founder’s fruitarian diet — an extreme form of veganism that didn’t agree with him. Two days before shooting on the film began, Kutcher checked himself into a hospital. “I was like doubled over in pain, and my pancreas levels were completely out of whack,” he told the Associated Press. “Which was completely terrifying, considering everything.” The “everything” here is the pancreatic cancer that eventually ended Jobs’s life, so we can’t really blame Kutcher for getting freaked out.
