Deadline reports that Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence are in talks to star and develop a multi-camera sitcom together. (Yes, that’s right, Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence.) The show would be for Lionsgate TV and possibly work under the ten episode first season with the potential of a 90-episode pickup that worked for Anger Management. No showrunner is in place yet, but the potential show is likely to have an Odd Couple-esque structure with Kelsey Grammer as a Kelsey Grammer-type and Martin Lawrence as a Martin Lawrence-type. Considering they both played radio hosts on their respective sitcoms, we see no reason not to make them rival DJs. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves and just revel for a bit in how silly it will look to watch them together.
