Ryan Gosling Could’ve Been a Backstreet Boy?

Ryan Gosling has gradually courted the USA, slowly working his way into the country's heart. Would it still have been the same if at a young age he were super-famous instead of kind of, somewhat famous? When he was doing the Mickey Mouse Club, he lived in the same Orlando apartment complex as A.J. McLean from the Backstreet Boys. As he explained to Celebuzz: “They were just forming that band, so he was saying how big they were going to be — and he had a poster of them in his house. We were like, it’s never going to happen. Didn’t they already do that with New Kids? You’re a little late. Cut to … I was wrong.” He joked that maybe he would've joined the group if McLean only returned his calls. (For which McLean apologized on TMZ.) In some alternative reality, Gosling is singing harmonies with Howie Dorough and Nick Carter is acting with Sean Penn. This reality is probably better.
