Seth Rogen to Guest on ‘The Mindy Project’

The Mindy Project is adding another big-name guest star to its list: Seth Rogen. Fox announced today during the Television Critics Association tour today that Rogen will appear on the show’s February 19th episode, entitled “The One That Got Away,” as a guy who was Mindy Kaling’s character Mindy Lahiri’s first kiss. The two reunite decades after their Jewish summer camp romance and rekindle things. The Mindy Project has played host to a number of high-profile appearances from comedy people in its first season so far, including Ed Helms, Bill Hader, and Seth Meyers, with The Office alums BJ Novak and Ellie Kemper set to drop by for future episodes. Rogen is no stranger to guesting on sitcoms, having recently appeared on The League and Eastbound and Down. Mindy Kaling just filmed a small role in Seth Rogen’s upcoming apocalypse comedy This Is The End (which he starred in, produced, wrote, and directed), so this looks like an old-fashioned cameo swap.
