Blow out your prayer candles, cancel your protests: Your calls have been answered, and there will finally be a Yes, Dear reunion. Mike O'Malley and Liza Snyder, stars of everyone's favorite punching bag from the mid-aughts, will join forces again on Raising Hope, according to EW.
But this got us thinking. Don't we all have a second-tier sitcom we'd secretly love to see a reunion for?
I'm not talking about Friends or Seinfeld or Murphy Brown. I'm talking about those forgotten shows, the less-loved series. And it doesn't have to be a reunion special with the whole cast — just two or three actors from a previous series appearing together again, just as a little treat. I legitimately wish for a Caroline in the City reunion on Switched at Birth. (Come on, Amy Pietz! Do me a solid here.) What wouldn't I give for a Cybill reunion with Cybill Shepherd and Christine Baranski in The Good Wife? Can Donal Logue show up with Kevin Corrigan on Community as a Grounded for Life homage? Can Jenna Elfman swing by Criminal Minds for a Dharma and Greg reunion with Thomas Gibson? Can't Caroline Rhea join Melissa Joan Hart for a Sabrina the Teenage Witch reunion on Melissa and Joey? I'd also accept a Blossom reunion between Joey Lawrence and Mayim Bialik on the same show. Throw me a bone, television. Who would you like to see get back together for one episode?
