Like the rest of the Girls-watching world, Lisa Lampanelli has a strong opinion about “One Man’s Trash” and the likelihood of a Hannah–Joshua hookup. Only her take on it is probably more crass (and funnier) than yours. “As a formerly fat bitch, I fucked a lot of good-looking guys,” she told us prior to the WGAs on Sunday. “So goddamnit, [Lena] should be allowed to do that, too. Some guys see past your weight or your big nose — I’m talking about myself, not her — and they’re like, ‘Oh!’ It’s an internal thing about you. So I don’t buy that funny-looking, odd-looking women don’t fuck good-looking guys, because I did and still do. My husband’s way better looking than I am, but I’m richer, and that’s what counts.” Dunham later gave an onstage shout-out to Lampanelli, whom she saw when she was 15 years old at Caroline’s, with her mother. “We went up to her afterwards, and my mother really embarrassed me by saying, ‘She wants to be you,’” she told the audience. “And Lisa went, ‘What: a cunt?’” Sounds like the start of a beautiful friendship.
