Stand-up comic Jim Gaffigan’s autobiographical pilot at CBS has found its female lead in Mira Sorvino. Bearing Gaffigan’s actual spouse’s name, Sorvino will play Jeannie, “a super-wife and super-mom. The mother of five kids, she has a sixth child in the house: her husband Jim.” Yes, it’s going to be a banner pilot season for man-children, but Gaffigan might have something special here, with a script from Rescue Me creator and The Larry Sanders Show writer Peter Tolan.
