Prince totally wants you to forget he ever said the internet is “completely over.” Here’s his third digitally released (supposedly leaked, yet available for purchase) track in the last few weeks, “Breakfast Can Wait.” It’s got absurdly funky bass. It’s got sexual innuendo (“hot cakes, smothered in honey / I’mma have to pass / fresh cup of coffee, no no / I’d rather have you in my glass”). It’s got a chipmunk pitch-shifted finale. It’s completely a Prince song. So when do we get to hear the album? Or hear about the album?
