Though this is technically the second After Earth trailer, the first one only showed us a little and didn’t tell us much of anything. Jaden Smith, who reportedly takes the film’s lead while his papa does more of a supporting gig, only got two words in edgewise. Now we learn M. Night Shyamalan’s latest and certainly sci-fi-iest is definitely going to be a father/son bromance. We get The Mission, a couple more lines from Jaden, and the definite confirmation that After-Earthians developed unusual accents. After this, Jaden’s going to have a great platform to gun for a role in the next Hunger Games or Avatar.
