Danny Boyle is interested in celebrating the twenty-year anniversary of 1996’s Trainspotting by adapting Porno, author Irvine Welsh’s sequel to the original novel. “I don’t think there will be any barriers to Ewan [McGregor] or any of the cast coming back,” Boyle says. “I think they’ll wanna know that the parts are good so they don’t feel like they are letting anyone down.” He adds that “the only criteria” is to not disappoint fans of the original.
