Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has found its Drax the Destroyer in an actual human destroyer, WWE wrestler Dave Bautista. Drax is “a human resurrected as a green warrior with the sole purpose of killing Thanos. His powers include flight, super-strength and energy blasts,” and the pleasure of getting to act alongside Chris Pratt. Bautista is a long way from following The Rock’s Hollywood trajectory, although he appeared in The Man with the Iron Fists and will show up in Vin Diesel’s Riddick later this year.
