"People did not watch the show because of Elisabeth. So they told her yesterday her contract would not be renewed." Update: ABC's statement says that Hasselbeck "is a valued member of The View and has a long term contract," which is a polite way of not mentioning a renewal. Deadline reports that the network is already looking for replacements.
