Ted and Django Got Plenty of MTV Movie Award Nominations

This movie is nominated for seven of these awards.

While the MTV Movie Awards are usually held in June, this year's show will air on April 14, meaning the Oscars and the Golden Globes will still be fresh in our minds. That's the absolute best frame of mind for an audience to witness Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain squaring off for Best Scared-as-Shit Performance, Channing Tatum taking home Best Shirtless Performance for Magic Mike, and Ted and The Avengers finally competing in the big dance. Django Unchained and Ted lead the noms with seven apiece, followed by Silver Linings Playbook with six; J-Law's performances garnered her five nods. Rebel Wilson will host.
