ABC Family’s hit teen murder mystery Pretty Little Liars is getting a spinoff, the network announced today. Ravenswood, which will premiere in October, isn’t a spinoff-spinoff — none of the characters carry over — but it is set in one of PLL’s neighboring towns, where residents are the subject of a “fatal curse.” Five townspeople band together to get to the bottom of the deadly curse before it kills everyone in their Pennsylvania community. Sounds death-y! Ravenswood comes from PLL’s executive producers, and if there’s any source of good in the universe, it’ll share PLL’s fashion sensibilities, too.
