The Man from U.N.C.L.E. has traveled a long road, but it looks like Tom Cruise is now negotiating to star in the film that moved from Steven Soderbergh's stewardship over to Guy Ritchie's in late 2011. Cruise's interest in the role comes after gents like Channing Tatum, George Clooney, Joel Edgerton, and Bradley Cooper were considered. Deadline notes Cruise signing on would likely mean put another ongoing series in his quiver, alongside the Mission: Impossible and Jack Reacher franchises.
