The promo for Louis C.K.’s upcoming HBO special is really great. It’s inventive and self-deprecating, and it plays with the form. Since Louie is taking 2013 off, this might be as close as we get to C.K.’s directorial genius all year — even if he doesn’t eat a bunch of smoked fish. The special premieres on April 13; it will be the greatest comedy of the generation of blah blah ever.
