3 Doors Down Bassist Gives Us a Terrible Reason to Remember His Band

Usually, we only think about 3 Doors Down when our iTunes somehow coughs up "Kryptonite" or American Idol airs a bro tribute. This weekend however, bassist Todd Harrell returned to the public when he was arrested for vehicular homicide. TMZ reports that Harrell — who was previously arrested for a DUI last year following a different car accident — was speeding in Nashville on Friday when his car clipped a Ford pickup truck. The truck spun out of control, fell over an embankment, and overturned, resulting in the death of its driver, who was not wearing a seat belt. Harrell admitted to having mixed hard cider with painkillers and Xanax earlier in the night. Deputies also discovered a plastic bag in his sock containing Xanax, Oxycodone, and Oxymorphone. He's currently being held on $100,000 bond in Davidson County.
