Starting this week sci-fi horror comedy John Dies at the End is available on DVD and Blu-Ray. The movie, based on Cracked senior editor David Wong’s 2007 comic horror novel of the same name and directed by Don Coscarelli, the same guy behind sci-fi horror comedy and semi-comedy movies Bubba Ho-Tep and Phantasm, is about two college dropouts, a psychedelic drug called Soy Sauce, and demons. Paul Giamatti also stars in and produced the movie, which had a lukewarm response from some critics but got a bit of a cult following, too, and also Julie Klausner and Vulture made this video of Giamatti getting to play famous romantic lead parts to promote it, so there’s that, too.
