20th Century Fox has bought the rights to make a new movie of Guys and Dolls, and they want it to star Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. According to Deadline, the studio is looking at Tatum for the beleaguered gambler Nathan Detroit role and JGL for smooth-talking Sky Masterson. (Everyone knows the best role in the show is Nicely Nicely Johnson, who gets to sing "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat," but he is not the star.) We can almost kinda see Gordon-Levitt and Tatum in tacky pinstripes, but what's going to be really fun is watching the casting process for the female leads, the prim-and-proper Sarah Brown and the nightclub singer Miss Adelaide. Who will love us a bushel and a peck, Hollywood?
