Last Night on Late Night: Jason Bateman’s Confusing Arrested Development Viewing Directions

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jason Bateman doled out some words of wisdom and confusion for the Arrested Development fans. First off: Manage your expectations from the time the show was on “that other network” (meaning Fox). And secondly, you might end up adjusting your Netflix plan of attack, come May. Since the upcoming season is essentially an adaptation of the movie (which may or may not be happening still), “You can stop my episode if you see Gob run by on his Segway … click over into his, watch where he’s going because all the action happens at the same time because it’s all just act one. In the movie, it’s going to be act two and act three, so it’s going to be a hybrid package.” Uh-huh. Plus: From sex talk therapy about Sesame Street’s The Count to not so subtle underwear adjustments, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Craig Ferguson deliver the best banter; and on the Late Show, Harrison Ford attempted a Late Show coup that involved a joke about two cannibals.
