Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Elf, Cowboys & Aliens) is looking to scale things back a bit with the indie comedy Chef. He’s working to seal a deal for the project, which would have him playing star, writer, and director. “The plot details are vague but sources say the film would be set in a Los Angeles-based restaurant run by a emotional chef that Favreau would play,” says Variety, adding that this would be Favreau’s smallest production since 2001’s Made.
