NBC has ordered a stunt-heavy reality contest show for this fall called The Million Second Quiz, the network announced today. The show will combine “intense bouts of trivia” with contestants living in a giant hourglass in Manhattan and 24-hour access to said contestants for NBC affiliates and Internet audiences. The show will air live in prime time over the course of two weeks, and if it does well, expect to see it repurposed ad nauseum a bajillion more times before NBC drives it into the ground.
