Is this how you follow up “Gangnam Style,” a video that’s been viewed 1.5-billion times? It’s never really happened before, so we’ll have to say yes by default. PSY’s “Gentleman” features a much more subdued but equally hoppy dance, some stadium-status thrusting, and PSY being a total jerk to women and children. The video ratcheted up to almost 40 million views over the weekend, so this one will be all over the place whether you think it’s a letdown or an ace follow-up. It is kind of fun when PSY goes all Andrew W.K. and sprays booze all over the place, though. Outtakes at the end, too — that’s different.
