History’s ten-part Bible miniseries from Survivor, The Apprentice, and The Voice mastermind Mark Burnett is getting rejiggered into film format. “We’re cutting a movie version right now, a three-hour version of Jesus and [we have] many, many offers from theaters globally,” Burnett tells THR. An autumn release is being eyed. The Bible’s ratings were bonkers (13.1 million viewers for the two-hour premiere), and the DVD edition already holds the record of being the fastest-selling miniseries of all time.
