Here Are the New CBS Comedies

Will CBS make you laugh this year? Well, they’ll certainly try. Beware: instead of regular previews, they’ve decided to just post these behind-the-scenes promos. So, take what you get. First up, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams are paired up as  father-daughter advertising executives in The Crazy Ones, a David E. Kelley joint.

We Are Men, a comedy featuring Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub, and Jerry O’Connell airs Mondays at 8:30 p.m. and is about a bunch of bros living together in a short-term apartment complex. Adrian Monk would not approve.

Executive Producer Chuck Lorre’s Mom stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney as a mother-daughter duo who are both recovering alcoholics. So like Gilmore Girls, but with super dysfunction. Nate Corddry and French Stewart(!) are also there, hanging out.

In The Millers, Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges play newly-single Will Arnett’s parents who (spoiler?) also split up when they find out their son and his wife did. Guess what that means? Mom’s moving in!
