Back in Feburary, Lil Wayne got in trouble for an incredibly offensive reference to Emmett Till in Future’s “Karate Chop” remix. Epic Records apologized to the family and attempted to pull the remix; now Wayne has written his own belated letter to the Tills. “I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your hurt, as well as the letter you sent to me via your attorneys,” it begins, before promising never to perform the song or reference Emmett Till again. It is not exactly an apology, but the full letter is here.
