Real Housewives of New York Will Be Paid Slightly More to Do What They Do

After some haggling, the cast of the Real Housewives of New York has signed on for another round of crying and shouting at each other. Production on the show’s sixth season was set to begin last week, but, in a rare display of solidarity, Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Aviva Drescher, and Heather Thomson all refused to show up to the set until Bravo agreed to give them significant raises. Now, Deadline reports that the cable network offered the ladies “modest pay increases,” along with “a few more contractual baubles like covering expenses for additional hair and make-up for the cast,” which they have accepted.
